Kevin Allen SenseiAikido 6th Dan

    Sensei Kevin Allen 6th Dan.
    Kevin Allen Sensei began his Aikido training over 38 years ago in Alice Springs,
    Central Australia within the Australian Aikikai organisation, which was led by
    Seiichi Sugano Shihan 8th Dan (Deceased 2010).
    Kevin was awarded Shodan (1st Dan) by Sugano Shihan in 1985 at the Australian
    Aikikai National Summer School in Sydney.
    Kevin’s Nidan (2nd Dan)was also awarded by Sugano Shihan in South Australia at the
    1990 Australian Aikikai Summer School.
    After training and teaching for over 17 years in Australia, Kevin moved to New Zealand
    to take up a job opportunity, set up house with his Kiwi wife Debbie, and began training
    under the guidance of Nobuo Takase Shihan 7th Dan of Aikido Shinryukan New Zealand.
    Kevin received his last four promotions in New Zealand the latest being Rokudan( 6th Dan)
    in 2017.
    Kevin has taught Aikido for over 37 years in Australia, New Zealand, New Caledonia and in the USA, and has a reputation for  a very different weapons based system of Aikido.
    Kevin Allen Sensei returned to Australia in August 2014, after spending 18 years in new Zealand.
    Moving to Coffs Harbour in New South Wales, Kevin will continue to pass on his knowledge of Aikido gained through the two great Aikido Shihan he has trained directly under, and through the many Aikido Shihan he has met in his International travels.

    Kevin is an Accredited Coach through the National Coaching Accreditation Scheme. 
    Australia Government Sports Commission and the Australian Jujitsu Federation.
